Female infertility

According to the definition of the World Health Organization (WHO) infertility refers to an inability to conceive after one year of regular sexual intercourse in the absence of any contraception.

What is infertility?

Female infertility can be a result of constitutive health problems that cascade into infertility. It has been noted that infertility in females is found in about 50% of the couples that experience primary or secondary infertility; this is a clear indication that both males and females may be the root cause for a couple’s inability to have children, and not just females as societal stigmas dictate.
