Premature ovarian failure is a condition in which women’s ovaries are incapable of releasing a healthy and mature egg each month and/or estrogen – a female fertility hormone. It is also called Primary Ovarian Insufficiency.
Some women are more susceptible to premature ovarian failure in comparison to other women. After the age of 35, women’s fertility prowess starts plummeting. The efficacy and functions of ovaries are over the hill. That is why; women between of 35 to 40 years are more susceptible to premature ovarian disorder. Also, if there is a family history of Premature Ovarian Syndrome, women are at a higher risk of infested by it.
