Do's
- You'll be given progesterone and other additional drugs to prepare your uterus and other hormonal processes before a frozen embryo transfer. Check to see that you have enough medication and that you know how to take it.
- Get plenty of sleep before and after the transfer.
- Eat warmer meals with high omega-3 fatty acid contents .
- Sleep 8 hours every night.
- Come to the embryo transfer with a full bladder
Don'ts
- Avoid extreme temperatures against your abdomen and uterus.
- Cold foods are not embryo-transfer friendly, so try to avoid: cold beverages, sugar, red meat products, highly processed foods, salt -- season with herbs and spices instead, coffee and tea.
- Avoid sexual intercourse since it may trigger uterine contractions and disrupt the embryo transferring into your uterus
